WIP from a painting

The character's name is Bellicose. He's one of my very favorite characters from the furry scene. He's a guardian dragon based on a Foo Dog (with his colours being inspired by tarnished bronze bells), and like a bell with a good rep, he's old and scarred - which is what makes him all the more powerful as a protector. Since the ringing of a bell implies purification and more, I'm using him in an artwork that's a bit more serious. Great work on your rougher color concept sketch on your Chinese dragon character. I love how much movement and abstract shapes you apply to Belicose, your character. Please push yourself far!

Thanks also for the kind words. I ought to have been a little clearer about one detail; Bell isn't my own but somebody else's character. I've been entrusted with a commission of him ^^ And push I shall! :)
