Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

Excellent portrait! You captured the emotion perfectly with minimal lines and accurate proportions.

I honestly wouldn't change anything, there is already good motion in the elements of the face. I imagine the reference was actually not especially dynamic, so if you really want more motion, you might have to exaggerate what is there. For instance, you could add more "squish" the the eyes and bridge of nose and more "stretch" to the opened mouth. You could even play around with shoulder position, like rotating her body to one side or lifting one shoulder. It's a very solid representation. I really really like her hair and the curve of her cheek against her nose.

Very good work :)

Nicest works on your facial drawing, Save. I think that your line work is making the greatest of strides, but I feel that these lines of action still need most exaggeration and satire. Would you please go for the most livening up of drawings with 49 minutes of 60 second faces, followed by 50 minutes of 30 second expression poses, all done from your shoulders?

The reason is because, you'll be able to have the greatest expression and emotion in your facial expressions. For most details, please study some images from Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud.

My hat's off to you.
