A question about drawing hands and feet

Would the process of drawing the figure work for hands and feet, mainly by identifying a general shape(s), dotting the joints, then working out the details? Thanks!

Yes, you always follow the same process, in my case: Draw the gesture, to get a good ideia of the drawing, then the shapes, then I draw more thick outlies and at last the details.
