Just got to know this site today and started using it this evening to warm up for some personal work. I'm a 2d artist doing mainly cartoon art. See this link for my animal studies. I did this because I want to get better at drawing animals.

Wow, that's some great practice! I really like the horses in the 30 second bar and the 10 minute sketches. :)

This is an awesome way to introduce yourself, welcome! What kind of experience do you have with animal drawing in the past?

Thanks :) No not that much. Maybe 2/3 times drawing in the zoo. I do more human figure drawing, and usualy am trying to caricature them.

Great job mitchleeuwe! I love your gestures! I'm still trying to develop loose, fluid lines and a style of my own. It's nice to see your work. :)
