Acerca de Abby Schmetterling
I am a professional art model, with about 7 years experience modeling for studios and art schools throughout the Greater Toronto/Hamilton Area. I enjoyed drawing and painting in elementary school, but after grade 9 art I mostly stopped, aside from some doodling here and there. Fast forward about 30 years to this time of physical isolation and loss of employment because of the Covid-19 plague, and I have now begun drawing again. I recently began a charcoal series from photo references and am getting quite good at those, but I noticed that life drawing, particularly gestures, were very challenging for me. I need help :-).
