What I see in ths image is that you need to trust yourself.
you have a good grasp of the basics, you also take many lines to accomplish it.
what would happen if you slowed down and rather than laying down a dozen lines you paused, took a minute to really look at your reference photo. Then can you do the same thing in one line rather than a dozen sketchy ones?
