Done as part of a practice session with poses of 10 minutes in length. Just a sketch. 30 mins total. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Your hand drawing is very accurate! All the fingers look to be correctly proportioned and positioned, which is very hard to do! I think this is done digitally? I do notice that where you were shading you were trying to use a small brush or pencil tool and this makes the texture look a bit scratchy. Some of the lines such as on the knuckle wrinkles, the tendons of the hand, and the nails could be a bit more subtle. Varying your brush size and opacity could be helpful for the shading, I think. A large, less opaque brush would let you add in the shadows, and softening the brush could help as well (giving it more airbrushed-like edges). Also, if you use a brush that changes size with the pressure of a tablet pen, it might help your line quality and let you get dark, thick lines and small, subtle lines without having to switch brushes. It looks like you're on the right track so far though with your drawing skills!
