23 second landscape warm-up

by Polyvios Animations, July 25th 2020 © 2020 Polyvios Animations

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 23 seconds in length.

My current goal is: Make my one-point perspectives less stiff and more dynamic, energetic, and fluid

Hi, and here is my latest warm-up sketch of a urban building street. What do you think? I'm still working on my gesture of my one-point perspectives.

Hey Polyvios,

I went ahead and looked at some of your other stuff before commenting as there was an instant interest in what you're putting out here.

I noticed that someone else had mentioned spending a bit more time and slowing yourself down, but that might not be easiest for us all to do. I propose giving yourself more room. If you're able to, try and get some really large pages or a bigger notebook. Give yourself all the room you can to really get all the information you can onto the page.

Additionally spending a bit more time on each piece will help as well. The paintings that I saw on your Twitter are all really well done and show the very unique way you see the world and I'd love to see that in some of these quick sketches more. Maybe just give yourself a minute rather than 30 seconds so you have more time to really get what you see on page.

Hope this helps!
