Please critique my gestures

Hello hanpb,

I love those gestures you've posted. I just completely love how much movement you've communicated in those poses. Again, those gestures are very good!

As far as getting the motion down is concerned, you may and might think, how much caricature can I push in my pose? How much can I distort the spine in that attitude?? I suggest that you would, and could do 68 minutes of 29-second poses as your new warm-ups. And furthermore, should you please do those poses in soft pencil, too??? The reason why you should go with those improvements is because of 3 reasons:

1. Line of Action:

Line of Action is when how much the pose flows naturally in terms of the look and feel in the spirit of the body. And if you want more details, look up the line of action page on the Preston Blair Animation Book (here is a link from Animation Resources below-not sponsored)

2. Boiling Down That Pose Into One Holistic Image.

This idea could help you out on thinking up the image more quickly as you see it.

3. To Make Your Line More Loose and Expressive.

Then again, it doesn't hurt to try and experiment with what feels right to you. My apologies for making this critique too long. Cheers and I hope you've found this nicer and engaging and encouraging.

Thank you for your input! I will definitely take that all into consideration, especially using a softer pencil, and longer practice times. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a helpful critique!
