Concept sketch. Beach themed.

I probably won't finish cause I forgot to take a screenshot so I could flush out the rest of the drawing.

Thanks for your comments.

Kim,

Is there a way for me to look up this photo?

I worked on it for about an hour and then moved on to the next pose.

But since it was going rather well and I wanted to flush out the rest of the picture, I usually take a quick screenshot when I intend on that kind of work. --But I forgot.

If this is not possible, would you consider creating something like that for LOA? I think that I am not the only one who would appreciate being able to look up photos of specific models and by their poses. Maybe something similar to how "The Pose Tool's" Website's set up?

Thanks for the encouragement. And possibly the help.

All the best,

We had some red tape about being able to look things up because some of the photographers who gave us images in the past did so on the condition that we not create any kind of browseable directory, and could only show their images in a timed environment. That said, we've expanded a lot since then, to the point where even omitting thoses photographers we have a lot of content that could be shown in that format. So there may be movement here in the coming months :)

In the meanwhile, lemme see if I can track down this image for you.

I think you're doing a much nice job on applying your really vivid colors on your sun tanning attitude, but I feel that these loose but lines of action and rhythm need much more of the same intensity of your warm up scribbles. Why don't you please lighten up but liven up your lines with 5.75 more hours of 13 second warmup scribble poses? (20,700/13≈1,592 scribbly warmups, with 3x 10-minute breaks inbetween)

The reason why you could and should do this critique constructively is because you could instinctively know when to make a pose static but make a pose dynamic, yet, to make your experiments of mark making much more bold and powerful. For more details, look into the Debrorah Rockman book on Drawing Fundamentals, though I'm still too cheap as dirt to afford a copy, let alone rent it, but you can just give this thing a try. Please take that with a grain of salt, therefore we'll hope this helps and encourages you much more.
