Nice and great job on your charcoal rough drawing of a face in a hat. I love the edges, I really love the gestures, I really, really love the spaces, relationships, values, and of course, I really, really, REALLY love your head-ness of the head. I completely think that you're so firing off all cylinders, and I feel that the exaggeration and grotesquery is not coming across yet. Would you like to please just go ahead with another 1 hour class modes of facial expressions, all done from your underhanded position of your sticks?
The reason why is because, if you can and will pick and choose out which facial feature to exaggerate more or less, then I suggest you can. And, for more information, please look into a free PDF of the Vilppu Drawing Manual right here.
