Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

The shading on this is what really gives it all of the dimension. I would love to see what you do with even longer, as the values can be pushed further. I especially adore the side of the foot and the large toe.

Very good for a begginner! you already know how to break the body on shapes, you're going really well, I also can see you can define the shape of shadows which will be really useful on a later stage of drawing!

You are absolutly on the right track
Excellent proportions, strong lines, good forshortening.
keep going.

This is very good for a beginner. You have built the foot from basic shapes which is exactly what you want to be doing, in my opinion.

I would work on softening the geometry of the foot by using more curved lines (e.g. the line where the toes connect with the foot), and wrapping the shadows further around the foot.

For some added interest you could darken/thicken the outlines toward the underside of the foot/leg. It looks like you're doing this already in some places :) Lighter lines toward the light source. Darker on the shadow side.

Keep it up!
