You are a guest
We reserve the right to prohibit the use of the site to any user at any time. Be a good guest.
Do not impersonate staff or other users
You may not impersonate Line of Action representatives or employees or pretend to be a member of the staff, whether by direct claim or implication.
No shared accounts
You may not use or log into another user’s account, nor may you attempt to gain the account information of other users or distribute their passwords to other users. Even if you are given the password or learn of it by any given means, you may still not log into an account that is not yours.
If you use the site, you certify that it is legal for you to do so
Different states and countries have different laws regarding age restrictions on viewing nudity, even in the context of art. If you are using the site, you are certifying to us that it is legal for you to do so in the state or country where you are doing it.
If you register for the site, you must be over 13 years of age
Federal law prohibits us from collecting any information about people under 13 years of age, including their email addresses. As a valid email address is required for registering an account on the site, this means you must be 13 or older to join the forums.
Your creative stuff
Drawing and other artworks that you have created or own and choose to share on this site will remain yours. You retain all rights and responsibilities pertaining to your visual art. However, by posting your artwork here you grant us permission to include images of it in promotional or tutorial materials. For an example of how this might apply, if we need to take a screenshot of the forums to explain how they work, your name, icon and any images or words you have posted may appear in that screenshot.
From time to time we may ask permission of certain users to specifically showcase their artwork onsite or in other formats. For example, in “Fellow Students” posts.
In addition, if you say something about us or how you use the service in an email to us, on our message boards, in a news comment or in any other communication with us and it catches our eye, we might want to use it on the site or elsewhere when talking about the site. If you’re under age 18, remember to ALWAYS check with your parents before you send anything to us or post anything on the site! By sending in your content and comments, you (and your parents) are agreeing that it’s okay to repeat on the site and elsewhere what you say, and it’s even all right for us to use it in an ad. So, this means we can use it in any way we want, anywhere, until the end of time. In summary: If you’re talking about us, yes, we can quote you on that!
You also agree that ideas and techniques are not unique, and that we may occasionally publish, on site or off, content that is similar to an idea that you had. You may not tell people the idea is stolen or attempt to take legal action against us. For example, if you share correct posture for drawing on the forums, and some time later we also publish an article about correct posture, there will be no issue of copyright between us.
When submitting an article, you are agreeing to let us publish it on and off site, now and forever. You also agree that some of the ideas in the article may be restated in other locations and other ways without necessarily being based on the article that you wrote, as per the above clause. Some things bear or require repeating by many voices. You also agree that we may rewrite or edit the article in full or in part.
Please also refer to our community guidelines for more information about your responsibilities for the things that you post, and our image upload policies for information on your responsibilities for the images you upload. By using the site, you are agreeing to abide by both. If you choose to submit photos for use in our study tools, you will also be bound by our photo bundle policies.
Other people’s creative stuff
By uploading or posting any content, including writings and images, you certify that you have the right to use said content. Please do not post copyright works to which you do not have a right or explicit permissions to use. If we are made aware of your use of copyrighted content, we will have to take it down and possibly suspend your account if you persist in posting content that does not belong to you.
