Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Sinolk

I don't know how much time this took you, but for the beginning it ist't bad. I can see what pose and expression you were going for, but see anatomical glitches as well. I would highly recommend to watch Proko on YouTube, he has some amazing lectures on anatomy. Almost all I have learned is from youtube, its a great free resource for learning. I recommend you to check out other artist too to get as much to see as possible. Keep up drawing and never get down because some are further in their path than you. With practice, everyone can get high :)

the lines are too messy

I can say you captured the shape and overall ratio of the reference very well as a beginner! messy lines could seems more precise, but make your drawing stiff. confident lines can capture the dynamics and the rhythm better, and in my openion, you could work on this.

Nicest jobs, FreiGuy86, on yet another figure study, yet again. I've got one more smallest suggestion for the night B4 bedtime: Why don't you do one more figure study here, all flipped horizontally, in 28 mins and 59 secs, pretty please??? So that you can see the edges more than perfectly???????
