Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Develop my own signature drawing style (advanced)

Halan Lore

It's nice, but I feel like the drawing isnt convincing. It feels like her feet are floating instead of supporting her. I'm wondering if they're positioned correctly? I don't know without seeing the reference photo.

Great job on your ballet pose, Herbert, Aunt. Very wonderful gesture sketch. A wonderful throwback to Wilhelm M. Busch (a different illustrator, not the creator of Max und Moritz (Max and Moritz))

Well, for pointers to help plus your signature style, my critique is that I'm not getting enough cartooniness in this ballerina gesture. Would you please work out your C and S-curves as the lines of action and rhythm, thru 30 minutes of 29 second quick pose sketches? (all flipped horizontally and/or vertically- on our website's custom tools, if you can access) And some extra images are from these images for you to bookmark, add to reading list, and download each and every one from this link right here: http://uncleeddiestheorycorner.blogspot.com/2007/09/what-animation-can-learn-from-ballet.html?zx=68449bf1efe1e788 (warning, sensitive content, and I think that's right for you. Right?)

The reason why is because, it can and will help out on making your drawing style more stronger than ever before, be it traditional, tradigital, or digital. Good luck and I hope you've found these completely and totally useful and concrete.

I like the figure overall. However, the front (left leg) looks a bit offset when connected from the waist. I suggest you first draw the body, that way you have the connection between the limbs set, before drawing the clothes on.

I think this awesome. It feels free. Reminds me of fashion design. I think you are on the way to find your own style.
