This one is better; keep pushing your spectrum of saturation to shape dimention and let the light tell the story in more detail. The light in the lamp is the story. Make us want to pick up the light off of the branch.

All the best,

Why not try reading Harold Speed's 'Science and Practice of Drawing'?

Warning-

He is a bit racey- Due to his old values, things like: ('0nly men can be artists because women are too nervous', and 'black people are unable to make art because they are too primitive'. He also adheres firmly to the artist's genius theory-you Got it, or you don't. You are born an artist or doomed to make crappy dead pictures.)

But if you can ignore his aesthetic theories about people, he has a few teaching gems that are always worth considering while practising art.

Around the faf his advice and practical knowledge that you can implement almost mediately after reading are super helpful. I have pages of Post-it's sticking out of this book, and I have returned to it again and again over the last two years.

Give it a go, and if you do, tell me what you think.

All the best,

Hello again, Kheir. Nicest job on your finest exhibition of the contrasts and harmonies of the colors and tones of the night scene with a lantern against a tree above. However, I'm not getting enough of the rawest intensity and energy in your brush strokes and textures. How would you like to please add a white wax pastel to a lantern, before you add a more neutral purpley black, so that you can and will make them pop out the most.

So, that you must be able to contrast the range of textures and details, while you can and will do most drawing exercises from the largest of newsprint.

Good luck to you and your progress and your journey.
