Consider allowing the lines around the body at points to not exist in spots of emphasis.
The viewer always likes to play/puzzle out visually with whatever they are looking at. Allow them to do the work for you, and keep them engaged in your work by leaving these gaps.
As the person doing the drawing, it is less satisfying to leave gaps because the image feels incomplete to us. Because we intentionally left those gaps, we don't get the satisfaction. But by leaving them out, the image is more compelling to the viewer who will.
See how much you can 'get away with' by not drawing it.
