1 minute exercise

Done as part of a 1 hour class. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses Trying to focus on cleaner, bolder lines. Less leaning on scribbles to feel out form. For the 1 minute and 30 second exercises, mostly trying to define structure/action cleanly and not worry about form at all.

Hi! I really like your drawing, and that makes me wonder about how you would do if you got a little more time. Try to find the action line in a pose and then quickly and roughly add shapes. You could search up "gesture drawing" and you'll know what I mean. You can use some more shapes like rectangles and triangles which could make the drawing a bit more interesting and could represent the shapes of the body more. Dont feel afraid to exaggerate, and experiment with different lines (Maybe curvy s lines for the legs and try to leave the circles in the legs?) and look how other artists do it. Hope this was helpful! -Merle
