Just picked up the pencil again want to practice digital art consider me an absolute beginner. Really difficult to draw models that i see so I am trying to break them down into shapes because it overloads my brain. Hands are a lot easier for me than feet although I couldn't for the life me draw the finger pointing directly at me. Perspective seems hard. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Breaking complex figures down into simpler shapes is how it should be done, especially for beginners, so you're on the right track!

Hands are a bunch of little sausages stuck onto a sort of wedge shape which is the palm. You can simplify each of the three segments of the finger into cylinders. I'd say do a quick google of using 3D shapes to draw a hand, you'll find images like this that might help you visualize it: cartoonhands-16.jpg

I also suggest tracing over photos of hands with these sorts of shapes (only as practice, not to post anywhere!) until you get more comfortable.

I enjoy the soft squarish shapes you use for the fingers, they are nice and stylized. You can work on that after getting the basics down!
