Done as part of a 1 hour class. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

I rethink studying proportions will help a lot. Try to pay attention to how big certain body parts are compared to others. The upper body for example is much bigger than the lower body. I think making the head, shoulders and neck smaller would be a significant improvement with reference to the human anatomy and proportions.

i an see you had 1 hour to do this sketch, if the time is enough, why not try to mesure different parts of the figure with some kind of tools!(pens,eyes......) it can make your sketching more accurate!

also,if my english is bad,plz forgive me cause im not an english speaker, im so sorry!

Hi ATMO5! This is a great start for a beginner. If I were you, I'd focus on some anatomy practice to get your proportions and underlying body structure solid before you worry too much about shading and definition. There are ton of great resources out there to get you started with some basic guidelines to build off while you grow your observation skills. For example, how the lengths of different body parts relate to each other (a leg is typically about four times the length of the head, etc.). Good luck with your art journey! You're off to a good start. Like with everything else, practice will be your best tool. :)
