Hi Foxtrot! What type of computer and browser are you using? The photos are meant to automatically resize to be full screen.

Yes, that's the same issue. I have a patch meant to address it, but have not had a chance to install yet. Sorry about that! :(

Looking good! How do you feel about them? What is your takeaway for your next practice session? :)

Hi there! Can you let me know what kind of tablet you're using, and the browser that you use on that tablet?

    Hi MishuB,

Accounts that have never been used are deleted every four weeks or so.

By "never used," we mean no forum posts or comments on news posts have been left by that account. This is the definition for "use" right now because there is currently no other use for accounts (login is not required to use any of the tools, and no information regarding your usage of the tools is recorded to your account - though this may change at some point in the future, as many people have requested progress goals and badges). This policy has helped us to eliminate tens of thousands of spammer accounts, decreasing the load on our database and the number of spam posts that get stealth posted by accounts that sit for months before becoming activated for that purpose.

If you HAVE been posting on the forums, then this is a big issue, please let me know about it! But if this is your first post, then simply by asking this question your account should stick around now. ;)

Thanks for following up, Joey! That is a huge relief. It's hard to debug things that I'm not able to reproduce, especially when I don't hear back if I've got it right or not as often happens, so I am very grateful for the report. :)

Hi bugsy7193! You can find the following answer in our FAQ:

    Short answer: No.

Long answer: Most of the images displayed by the gesture tools have been provided on loan by very generous photographers, professional and amateur alike, who have an interest in training fine artist. In offering their images, many of them specified that they were to be for educational use within the tool itself, and not to be reused for any other purpose. That means that we have use rights for a very particular case, but do not own the commercial rights and thus cannot give you permission to use all of the images shown in the practice tools in work you plan to sell.

Most of our images link back to the original photographer’s website or portfolio in the top left of the tool. If you are interested in a particular image, you may want to consider following the link and contacting the photographer directly. Some will have the answer to this question posted prominently on their site.

    Hi all,

Thus far, I've been totally unable to duplicate this issue. I'm working with the host to try and resolve it, and may look into switching hosts (again) if they continue to have this type of problem so regularly.

    Hi Stampe92,

I'm sorry to hear that! I'm not sure how the site could cause such an effect on a healthy computer. We use fairly light-weight javascript within the browser to advance photos.

Do you receive any kind of error message?

    Hi NineLives,

I moved your post into its own topic so that it wouldn't get lost in someone else's critique thread, and you would have more chance to get your own critique.

Skeletons/component shapes are a fine exercise to work on! :) But of course you're free to try other exercises if you have a different goal in mind. What you've accomplished with self-teaching is very impressive!

Your longer drawings look beautiful to me. I do notice that you have a tendency to really "pet" the lines and go over the same area many times with more and more and more little strokes. I would recommend focusing on trying to capture the gesture with the smallest number of long, fluid lines possible in your next few practices, to start to get a more fluid and confident look in your figures.
