    Hi

i really like your confidence in the 5 min pictures. But i Think you carrie it too far in the 10 min. Its okay to Think about your guide lines and anatomy. However you seem to have a really nice understanding of siluets which might help you a lot when further developing your anatomy understanding. Other focus points could be joints especially raised arms, and volume in shading of body and hair.

    hope this helps :)

Hi i think i can give you some advice i have recived myself.

learing more anatomy and doing boxes insted of cirkles

this book GeorgeB.Bridgman ConstructiveAnatomy has some great pictures and descriptions of anatomy for free. looking up pictures of skeleton and muscle groups is very helpfull too. understanding what the skin sits un anable us to draw more acualtly.

your understanding of the picture seems to be quite good, i therfore think it is time to understand the form i depth.

i was also once recommended this video [url=
]HOW TO PRACTICE DRAWING ANATOMY (noob to pro)[/url] which i also found really helpfull in figuring out what to fokus on.

    hope this helps

hi I just saw the video.

I think what he means on level one is getting familiar with communicating mass (the body) on a flat surface (the paper). when you can communicate mas convincingly you move up a step. I also hear him mention that the meathod he is teaching is to save time. the simpler shapes take less time to draw. I also see him simplefying musslegroups, this gives him guidelines and information without overcomplicating it.

In conclution I think you should try to take yourself throught the steps, starting at nr 1. You don't have to chance your style, just try his method. When you nail level 1 move up to the next one. I think the exercise is great for annyone regardless of skill and style. You don't have to force the metod into your normal rutine but it might bring helpfull experience.

    hope this helps you.

ps. if you add a photo of your progress it will help others to critique.

Hi I struggle with quick sketches of portraits, epecially in the timezone 30 sek 1 min.

I find faces really hard to grasp and therfore spend a lot of time thinking about the proportions.

if you have any tips other than lots of these practice sessions, then I would love to hear it. :)

30 sek and 1 min sketches

1 min 5 min and 10 min sketches

Hi thank you su much for the very helpfull point. I Can totally see your points. I think I will try exercises where I fokus on measuring and comparing lengths of the fingers and other hand proportions. I will definitely check out the book recommendation. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out, it means a lot. :)

Hi i Think your doing great with the time farme. My advice would be to move away from the circles and focus more on recognizing the shapes from the picture. It might be a little tough in the beginning but it's worth it over time. Good luck :)

wow these are amazing really nice job, i love what you have done with shadows in the tree women and the siluet aproach in some of the other ones. I don't think i have the skill to give you pointers, but i would like to thank you for sharing your work since i think this is going to help me out. However i do agree on "Thestrippers" point on adding a "line of action" -see what i did there.. oh well... good luck with it. :)

hi, i ride horses and loves to draw them as well... i like to make my own rules and guide lines that are easy to remember. looking at other peoples guide lines are great too. You could find videos of competitions and pause them mid action to get great refrences of the same horse.

doing shading as wel always helps me since horses otherwise can look quite flat or fat.

    hope it helps :)

    Hi

your doing great with the boxes you are creating. From what i can see you are struggeling with the skin.. my tip is to learn just a little more anathomy so you have a batter understanding of what the shin is sitting on. I can tell from your subsciption hat you enjoy he skull meathod and thefore think it would work well. I thow its though but the more you draw skulls the easier it gets to imagine them... You mention a problem with identefying mistakes, i think we all can relate to that. What i personally do is take a mirror and look at my drawing in it, both for disance and a mirrored drawing, this gives it a new angle.

small tipp also study the bodeyparts close up, it will make them eaier to simplify :)
