Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form Nice to meet you. I'm participating from Japan. I would be very happy if you could give me a critique. I'm not very good at English, so I'm using translation software to write this text. I may not be able to write a good reply, but if you give me a critique, I would like to refer to it.
Polyvios Animations
Love those quick poses, akikoma, that's a mighty fine job indeed.

Well, if I could provide some sincere critisism, it would be this: I love the animation in those gestures, yet, why don't you please push them far more, thru 148 minutes of 10 second scribbles of figures (148 x 60/10, 8880/10=888 warm ups of human bodies)

I really think and completely feel like that although you'll get nothing but scribbles, you'll get a lot of powerful lines of action.

The reason why you could and should do this trick is so that you'll make your lines of action the lesser of the contrived and the most action-packed, rhythmic, vital, energetic and liveliest.

Good luck from me to you, and I hope you'll find these completely and totally beneficial, helpful, and encouraging to your process as applied.

I like the second page better than the first. Smoother lines. I'm a big fan of making sure the shoulder line and the hip line are not parallel. Drawings 1, 2, 3, and 5 are parallel. Sketch 6 is the only pose that I would consider making parallel on purpose. On the right, 1,2 and 4 are not parallel and they posses more flow and natural curves.

It's tough for me to draw a straight leg without it looking too stiff. You did it well! Overall, nice!
