22-Second Scribble of the Figure Studies. (To Be Refined in Rough Form)

by Polyvios Animations, July 20th 2021 © 2021 Polyvios Animations
Done as part of a practice session with poses of 22 seconds in length. My current goal is: Improve my figure drawing forces, gestures, acting, actions, thoughts and feelings, most quickly. I'm really getting better at drawing and sketching out my figure drawing forces, gestures, acting, actions, thoughts, feelings, lines of action and rhythm, while at the same time, having fun with them. What do you think? If you see scribbles, don't you worry none. I'm gonna fix them up for you sooner.

I still have no clue, what you are hoping to achieve, and would strongly recommend returning to oldfashioned slow drawing and trying to get better at that.

Yes, Aunt Herbert, I can do this again, but not right now. I'm really having lots of fun with drawing my gestures in one stroke.

In order to really know what I'm aiming for, scope out this new video.

This is an episode of the Draftsmen show on Youtube, and in Podcasts on iTunes. It deals with the truer subject on scribbling.

See you later.

P.S. Hope this really, totally helps.

OK, watched the video. They talked about scribbling as a way to discover new things, then to refine them. That is not what you do!

You always repeat the exact same thing. Always the same 2 lines in those tiny boxes, no discovery, no refinement, no visible change at all, just endless repetition.

You are stuck, and have given up on improvement, no matter what you claim to achieve. You promise to fix up your scribbles soon. That is what you have written under the piece, right above. I don't believe you, because you made the same promise over and over and never followed through. Never!

If you want to discover something, you will have at least start to change something, anything. At least get rid of those tiny boxes and try out some longer lines for a change.
