Hey there, AuslerDraws, I just wanna say, thanks for the awesome job on loosening up on your very first Imgur post -- on Line of Action. That's a very good job on going for the motion here. Well, if I could provide a completely and sincerely honest criticism, then it would be that some of the poses have a bit too much choppier lines. Why don't you please free yourself up in your decisions of lines, through 120 minutes of 30 second poses???? (120 x 60/30, 7200/30=240 attitudes)

And you wanna know the reason why????????? Because, it would and could help out on making your line economy less rigid, and more dynamic, exaggerated, and fluid. For more info on making some caricatured poses, here is this link on the Vilppu Drawing Manual PDF: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8VO-JQCy3HgVzBhZGtiN3hZWHc/edit

Or better yet, be sure to buy the scarce copy of that book. Good luck to you, and I hope you'll find this definitely and absolutely helpful and informative.

@Layan Thanks for your response, Layan, but don't you mean two of these tutorials please?

The reason is because, it would and could help out on making more cartoony, expressive, and exaggerated sketches. Hat's off to you, and I hope you'll find these completely and totally encouraging!

Greetings, Luke, excellent progress you've got there on your Google Drive! Well, if I could and would give you some advice, then it would and should be to please, please, please, please work out the looser and exaggerated forces and gestures of 117 minutes of 2 minutes of drawn poses????? And why?????? Because, It would, could, and should make your gestures and spaces less stiffest, and even more solidest, fluidest, and spontaneous.

And another thing: "Practice on the Days That You Eat." -Daniel Coyle, The Little Book Of Talent.

Good luck from me to you, and I hope you've found these completely and totally influential, inspirational, and absolutely educational and advisory.

    Hello there, Layan,

Nice and excellent display of promise, you've got here on your Google. However, if I was to give you one piece of advice or two, it would, and could; be to do 2 interative drawing tutorials on the website. The reason why you could do these is, as a result, it would and could, give your gesture movements in sketching more remotely cartoony and expressive. Good luck to you, and I hope you've found this completely and totally helpful and encouraging.

    Hello, Vinn,

I've looked at your animal sketches, and I must say, you're very promising at them in your very first post on them. Well, if I was to give you some very good advice on drawing animals, then it would be to please work standing up while sketching out the animals and other mammals? Why don't you please work out on 30 minutes of 30 second animal poses?? (1800/30=60 poses, all flipped and rotated in your photos and screen caps) The reason why you would and could do this drawing assignment is as a result, it could and would help you capture the gestures of your creatures more accurately, and more loosely and lightly.

Good luck for you, and I hope you've found this definitely and absolutely beneficial and instructive.

Nice work on your series of gestures, BrainH, I must think that you're on the right track in terms of your current goal.

My advice would be to tell you that, that's OK if you're somewhat inconsistent with your gesture lines, because, accuracy is not the important concern of your recent goal. I feel that you're just doing a swell job on searching out the forces and lines of your gestural poses. If I could give you a sincere critique on your gesture sketches, then it would be to keep working out with more and even more 30 second poses. Why don't you please do 108 more minutes of them? The reason is because, it could be extremely important and pivotal with your agenda in getting your lines of action, rhythm, and drawing your long and lively gestures.

My hat's off to you, and I hope you've found this completely and totally essential, informative, and descriptive.

    Well there, Thestripper,

I love so much on how much effort you've put into the shading and lighting of the spheres. Why don't you please check out this video???

The reason why is because, though there are very different examples online, then this would be completely and positively helpful on the studies. Cheers, and I hope this would be totally useful and informative, too: https://line-of-action.com/article/master-pencil

Nice job posting, Manarioca, but I'm really not seeing the links to your head drawings. Try again please? Because, I'd really like to get access to your latest fruits of your progress. Hope this helps, and cheers.

Hey there, Callmedeedee, nice work on your poses, especially on your imagination and Spiderman poses, too.

If I could suggest an improvement, then it would be to caricature those poses more, in 2 days of 96 minutes(96 m/2 d=48 minutes) of 30 second poses, all from reference and/or from imagination. Would you please do those practices? The reason why???? Because, you really don't need to do your finished Spiderman poses in a time as short as 30 seconds, what you're supposed to go for, is the movement of those types of poses.

My hat's off to you, and I hope you've found this completely and definitely pleasurable, informative, and encouraging.

    Hello, Wondererpassingby,

I've seen one of your quick sketches, and I think that those 30" (second) quick sketches are the most loosest and fluidest I've seen so far. The 2 minute poses are fluider, while the 5 minute ones are basically your fluid. Why don't you please do 96 minutes of 60 second poses, in two days?? The reason why you could do this amout of drawing practice is because, it'll help you get that lively and energetic hand-drawn animator's line. For even more practice and inspiration, then please check out the Action! Cartooning by Ben Caldwell, Fantasy Cartooning, also by Ben Caldwell, and this book, Vanishing Point for Perpsective Drawing.

Hat's off to you, and I hope you'll find this completely, totally, and absolutely obliging and informative.

    Hi there, Thestripper,

I absolutely love your quick sketches in 30 and 60 seconds very much, because they have a lot of looseness and life in those sketches. Keep up the great work!

Again, if I was to provide you a critique, then it would be to make your drawing poses more and more cartoonier and exaggeratedly appealing. Why don't you please do 95 more minutes of 30 second attitudes? The reason why you could do more of those warm-ups is because, if could and would help make your figures the least stiff and the most dynamic, vital, energetic, and fluid. Cheers to you, and I hope you'll find these completely and totally beneficial and nifty.

Well, Hungree, and by newspaper, I mean by practicing drawing on newsprint paper, because you don't really need to be that precious with your sketching. Hope it's been completely and totally nice and supportive.

    #26633

    Hi Hungree,

I've looked at all of your sketches, and I think they all looked beautifuller. And, I feel that you'll get better to let go of your symbol mode with practice, this time with pencils, and newsprint paper. That's just my advice. But, I've got one tinier, littler critique. Say, ever heard of L-Mode/R-Mode? Here is this link:

Why? Because this video is about the Betty Edwards technique, which regards on drawing from the right side of the brain. And why?? Because, if you have done 92 more minutes of figures, faces, hand, and foot poses in 30 seconds each, it could also tap into your right side of your head. Cheers for you, and I hope you've found these completely and totally informative and kindly.

Hmmm, that's a very good question, Xllvr,

I really think you know something on how intervals work, in the 30 seconds and 60 seconds (1 minute) sides, and as for the 5 and 10 minute intervals, well, it could help and encourage you to be more slower and careful in the forms, spaces, and relationships (proportions and angles).

Hope you'll find this definitely and absolutely beneficial and helpful.

    Nice work, eadriver45,

I feel that your quick poses for your muscular men are on the right track, and I feel that I could give you an honest critique. You know, when it comes to your muscle men, you worry too much about the contours. Why don't you please do 89 minutes of 60 second male pose, and/or any pose warm-ups?

The reason why you could do this suggestion is because, if you're looking for that confident and bold line your talking about, then I say, 'go for it.' It's OK if those 1 minute poses don't look like nothing, because, they'll be here to completely loosen you up and lighten up your line quality. Keep up the good work, and I hope you've found this helpful, informative, and encouraging.
