Welcome aboard, thesuperdupersayian, how my I help you? Excellent work on your solid forms and perspective, and proportions, and subtle foreshortening.

Yet, most of the line qualities all look itchy or seem itchier, and hairiest and scratchiest to me, as they appear to have been drawn too tighter in the handwriting position. May I sugggest that you should and could do 5 minutes of 30 second figures, using the underhand position?

It is for two things: 1) To get loose and confident strokes. 2) To not get too, too bogged down on the smaller and most insignificant details. For furthest information, I recommend The Art of Basic Drawing from Walter Foster. Hope this has been totally and genuinely beneficial.

Good morning, Zhaoxiong and welcome aboard to our website, Line of Action! I'm Polyvios, Polyvios Animaitons and how are you doing this morning? I love how much of the broader strokes and lines of gestures of strength and ambition of the hands and all of the feet. However, I feel they seem a bit farthest too rigid in the exaggeration. Kindly satirize the hands and feet even most with 1 hour of 30 second scribbles of various appendages with our custom timer? As a result, your poses and gestures will be the least weakest and the most strongest with the caricatures of hands and feet and shoes and crocs and sandals and sneakers that you can find around your house, apartment, online, or whatever. For complete details, please be sure to look into the Andrew Loomis book of heads and hands and the Nicolaides book and the Edwards books.

Hope this has helps you out the most and have the nicest day!!

Agreed, but I really didn't mean to frustrate Verdant in any way, but I wasn't proud of it, as I had been completely and criminally misunderstood, until then, I'll just drop it for now.

FYI, Kim, confidentially, I think it was Verdant Cole, and please tell him that I'm sorry to offend Cole, though I wasn't trying to offend his ego, but I was only trying to constantly reassure his budding drawing talent. Tomorrow, please convince him to unblock me in the morning, if he needs to and if he really wants to. I was only ultimatly trying to help out myself and moreso, my peers online. Good night, Kim.

Ok Kim, here is the here, and this image in case you didn't see this link.

You see what I'm saying and do you see what I mean?

I don't know, but I could've been blocked by somebody, for no good reason.

Have a nice afternoon and love you.

    To Whom It May Concern,

I was looking through the sketchbook again, when 6 pages are all completely empty. Please what can we do?

Good luck and have a nicer evening.

Good evening, Fincov, and welcome to Line of Action, and I'm Polyvios, but how are you? Say, in order to get some greater tips on how to draw hands, then I suggest to look into This link here, and here. Hope both of these help.

Good morning again, soda, and I think that your figures and faces are well-articulated in terms of lines, spaces, and relationships, but I feel that I can be sharp enough about this, therefore, these gestures all don't look or seem intuitive enough to me. How would you like to speed up harder and loosen up your dominant & non-dominant hands with 10 minutes of 30 second faces and figures and such with either hand?

The reason why you would and could free up your pair of hands ambidextrously is because of the whole, entire point of quick speed sketches and gestures to make your sketches and pictures less stiffer and more than fluid in the organic mess of the perception of edges all the way down to the perception of the gestalt. As Chuck Jones put it:

We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us - the sooner we get them out, the better

Hope this tip and trick have helped you out, and I hope you'll care about the process over product.

Good evening, Drab Green Rabbit and welcome to Line of Action. I'm Polyvios, Polyvios Animations and how are you doing tonight?

Say, I'm really loving so much on how looser and faster you've drawn your figure drawings and gesture sketches. And what's specifically is that your gestural poses are a lot more looser and bolder and broader in the strokes, which is basically the point of gesture drawing.

So, if I could honestly nitpick your quickest sketches, I would and could say you're having some problems or two on how to loosen up your lines of action and lines of rhythm in your broadest attitudes. How would you like to work ambidextrously with 5 minutes of 30 second sketches for either hand, just to free up your shoulders. The reason is because of the saying:

We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us-the sooner we get them out, the better.

Chuck Jones-Warner Bros. Animation Director of Termite Terrace

So to further prove my point, please check out these two videos from YouTube.

Let's hope these have helped you out so much.

    Good night.

Good evening Kapahab, and greatest job on your range of motion and mood and anatomy and silhouetes and relationships, but I'm need to see and want to see even more ultimate confident lines of action and the broadest strokes. How would you please like to do some 30 minutes of 30 second sketches of figures, 30 minutes for the dominant hand, and 30 minutes for your non-dominant hand.

The reason why you could and would and should do this drawing exercise is because of two things or so: 1) to get you to think about observation in drawings. and 2) to get the broadest and funniest feeling with your caricatures and exaggerations in figures and such. For furthest influence and inspiration for your gesture drawing applications, look this up, it can really and ultimately help you out.

Good luck and I hope this has totally and absolutely benefited you and your studies.

Good morning, Bi Tronic Colarice, and welcome aboard, I'm Polyvios and how do you do this noontime? Say, in order to best possibly explain this issue with gesture drawing with an emphasis on scenes and environments, you'd go for the gesture drawing exercise for your environments, just like you would with figures and such. Here are some visual examples.

This images are directly lifted from John K. Stuff blogger, and this images give a very great idea visually on what I'm trying to mean about gesture drawing for compositions (environments). What I mean is that if you could see these images by blurring out the most complicated forms and details, and the most simplistic gestures, you'd be able to feel your way through flow and action lines in the backgrounds, and on the characters as combined in these scenes, and so on. If you'd really like to do this suggestion, then I'd love to see your 30 second exercises of these images suggested to you, then photograph digitally these and post them against your studies, as you can see the hint of this statement.

Thanks and have a great rest of the week.

Good evening, Jerber, and welcome aboard to line of action, I'm Polyvios Animations and how are you? I must do say that your shortest and longest studies are looking like you've done the greatest job as you could, but you're definitely have lots of room for improvement.

Just as what Ontevreden, then if you are looking forward to some of the most highest standards that you could and would reach, then you can and will look into this link on head shapes here. It's from John K. Stuff, the oldest blog for artists, animators, cartoonists and creatives and entertainers available. For example, there's some of Basil Wolverton (MAD) who did the funniest but ugliest faces and the zaniest abstractions featured in that link there, because we could use those for gesture drawing inspiration. If you could warm-up to those sketches, then I suggest you give them all you've got.

Hope this thing helps you out so much.

Hey Teekonu, and welcome to Line of Action, I'm Polyvios Animations and how are you? Greatest job as I have seen so far on your hands, feet, and figures in the link above, and however, I'd seen your Megamind doodle, but great line confidence and some motion in that one, too.

So, in order to make your drawing, and it needs a little bit of improvement, then would you kindly free up your hands with 10 minutes of 30 second hands, feet, and your understanding of figures and Dreamworks and other animated characters in lines of action in contrasts of sizes and shapes?

As a result, as I've said above, your drawings and cartoons will get to be the least stiffest and the most dynamic, alive, and internally motivated in the lines. Good night and I hope you've found this current goal helpful on the longest run.

Hello Tannaysart, and welcome aboard to line of action, and how do you do tonight? Greatest job on your range of human proportions, anatomy, and most importantly the organic lines of action. But, I'm not getting enough of the organic proportions and shapes and sizes. How would you like to do 30 minutes of 2 minute poses? As a result, your relationships will become the least stiffest and actually spontaneous like the real rubber hose cartoons of the oldest.

Hope this helps out, but please look into some Milton Knight drawings and Bill Nolan Animaiton reels to study from. So, hope this has totally helped and inspired you and good night to you.
