Tried to make my lines less scratchy and sloppy, and added shading and tried to do some hands and feet detail rather than just blobs.

The figures are very good (even the hands & feet). My suggestion on the scratchy line is to lay down your lines lightly. The with a sharp say 4b pencil go over the lines so that the lines are smooth & darker. You could also use pen & ink (which I like). Look at my drawings 19, 20 & 21. Life drawings using only pen & ink (I did go back and added pencil shading). Remember you can always go back in work on your drawings. You are on a roll. Let's have more.

Oh gosh, I didn't even think about using two different drawing tools, duh! I've just been plowing into them too quickly using the same tool throughout with the more or less the same pressure. Definitely going to try your idea. I also love your pen and ink drawings with the pencil shading later. Love it! Thanks again!

I took your advice and outlined in a 6B pencil and darkened the setting. I hope it helped!

We are getting there. In the shadow on the legs of the female figure, I would let the line get lost in the shadow. Also, the front of the figure. One problem with a 6B is that it is too glossy. For a really dark pencil, I prefer a Prismacolor Ebony (which is jet black - it is really dark). Check your local art supply store or Amazon. You can make the edges more interesting by varying the weight of the outline (making it lost & found which makes it more interesting). I also see you have started dating your work (good). Keep going. You are on the right path.

As usual, your advice is always gold! I did notice the glossiness of my pencil. I will get one of those prisma color. And I did notice they looked rather cartoonish after outlining so I agree I need to let some of the lines get lost a little bit. Thanks again!

You may have to buy a dozen as opposed to just 1. The ebony does give you a very nice black. You are going in the correct direction.

Thanks! I put the 12 pack in my DickBlick cart just moments ago LOL!

Enjoy the new tool.

I think that your work is good, maybe you could improve in clean more the line and in the picture of the left it looks a little oversized the left hand, but just a little bit. Go ahead, good work

Thank you Mel, I agree that that hand does indeed look too big and the lines needed definition, I actually posted a link to the cleaned up version in one of my replies above. Thanks so much for the advice!

SAY! Your forms, proportions, tones, and gestalts are the most gorgeous-looking I've ever seen in my career and life. Most gorgeous jobs indeed and please do keep on pushing your perceptions the farthest but the lines all seem too undertured too much and they're all not the most exaggerated enough to me yet. How would you please love to push your edges to the great extreme with 15 more minutes of 23 second lines of action poses, in addition to the 8 more minutes of 27 second hand and feet gestures and lines of rhythm, followed lastly by 7 more minutes of 27 second faces and expressions sketches?

The arguement is that as a result, your lines of action and liveliest outlines will be able to be the most emotional and expressive to your communication talents. Also, as Daniel Coyle puts it:

Be willing to be much stupid.

Meaning: You gotta know when and how to screw this session up.

My hat's off to you.
