Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Hello SINE when first drawing the most basic would be learning perspective. Humans see things in 3d so different angles will change the line and shape. Line and shape build up volumes. When we see the human body we might only see curves that build up shapes but no they are actually build up from volumes. Each body part or bone can be simplified into boxes. I would recommend the process of learning perspective -> shading (lighting) -> bones -> muscles -> sculpts (sharp edges that looks more geometrical) -> expressive lines -> photo sketches. I understand this takes a lot of time, but these are the basics that make you become a better artist. Hope you all the luck on your artistic journey.

I see you are working on hands. Excellent! Being able to draw hands will be a great plus to your drawings and other works. Line-of-Action has a section on hands & feet. Utilize it and any other photo of hands to practice with. Study the bone and muscle structure of hands. The fingers are all in 3 parts (including the thumb - its structure is back in the hand). What I would recommend is draw the hand with stick figures for the joints of the finger. Once you have the fingers arranged as you want them, you can fill out the fingers. Remember, the fingers are arranged in an arc and not straight across. Remember: practice makes better.
