Day 3

Following a Critique as well as a video guide, I have begun focusing more on the Tourso. As such the limbs are a mess, but I still wanted to track where they went to build up a habit. I still have a difficult time gathering the information to mimic a poss in 30 seconds, as well as I've noticed to more muscular body making it harder for me, which is why I included the 2 that took place in the longer sessions. Yesterday I didn't feel like I was improving much but after today I'm beginning to think progress is being made.

As I noted on one of the poses, proportions at a glance are difficult for me. I'm starting to figure out how to account for perspective, and have continued exercises to improve it but I'm not sure how to grab proportions at a glance, that should be the next thing that would improve my work in my opinion.

These are a bit difficult to see, but I will try my best! Your spacing and proportions seem pretty solid, now it's about filling in the gaps! I think that the shapes you use to "anchor" parts of the body (for example, the cube for the hips/lower torso) should account for the whole form. A better example is how you used the oval shape for the ribcage in the 5 min poses. It represents the whole ribcage and you could build off of it to place the rest of the body.

The only other thing regarding that is I would say is to have anchors for the hands and feet (such as cuboid/prisms) so that you can have a form in mind when you are placing them in perspective.

Other than that, stay curious and keep practicing!

Hello again!!!

Well, the most totally greatest job on your flows and movements and fluidities of your figure poses. I completely and totally agree that your torso is making the greatest height of progress, but a I must feel that the limbs are still too vaguest to most of your tastes than mine. I think it's OK with drawing poses in 30 seconds, because they're not meant to be done most quickly with all the details there is, it's there to help you be the most discriminating with your broadest edges, but to be absolutely and extremely into the figures as wholes, and therefore, to be all invested in your line quality. Why don't you kindly loosen up and extremely liven up with 18 minutes of 60 second (1 minute) poses?? (18 sketched poses)

The whole logical premise is because, if you can and will take a greatest nap, then your drawing talent will improve quite a bit most dramatically with time. And as well, like I've said in the above paragraph, to help you improve your linear quality in your figures. For most details, please be sure to find a copy on Amazon or your local library, The Little Book Of Talent By Daniel Coyle. But wait, there's more!! Here are some three videos as a surprise down below 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇😬😬😬😬😬:
