I have some major upgrades planned this year that might constitute a whole new version. While I'm gearing up to work on that, I want to hear from you -- what would you like to see in a next version? :)
January 11, 2024 2:41pm #30676You can still see all of the books here: https://line-of-action.com/store/books
January 10, 2024 4:56pm #30673This is the first report I've had of this. What browser and device do you use? And do you run with any browser plugins?
January 10, 2024 4:51pm #30672Unfortunately, no, I cannot reason with Amazon. I found the decision very shocking as well, it doesn't make sense to me. But they will not accept any calls from me. They are a massive company that has made this policy decision for all affiliates. Reddit is full of people complaining about it, here's just one example.
January 8, 2024 3:27pm #30654Apparently Amazon decided not to allow the images in 2024. Very weird. I took them out of the sidebar as a result, but you can still see the whole list here: https://line-of-action.com/store/books
January 8, 2024 1:35am #30650It's on my list. I will get to it. It is not necessarily so high priority that I am willing to drop projects that were already in progress.
January 5, 2024 3:36pm #30637Sorry, just to clarify - you're saying you experienced this bug today?
January 4, 2024 3:27pm #30635Oh bizarre! I'll take a look, thanks for bringing this up.
January 1, 2024 4:10pm #30609I hadn't actually pushed a fix previously -- it was broken in an inconsistent way before, so sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. But I kicked off the new year with a fix that I hope will make this work consistently going forward! Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention, the inconsistent ones are the hardest for me to detect without help.
December 26, 2023 5:40pm #30596Okay, I maybe found something. Lemme see what I can do :)
December 26, 2023 5:10pm #30595That is very strange. I haven't uploaded any code changes to the tools (beyond adding images here and there) for several weeks. The holidays is not usually a great time for pushing patches.
I'll poke around and see if I can find anything.
December 18, 2023 7:18pm #30533The tutorial pulls randomly from the entire library of poses. It will be a different set of photos every time you run it, just as with any other drawing tool on the site. There are a relatively small number of wheelchair photos in our library compared to others; if you got more than one, it sounds like you had a strange bit of luck. Luckily, if one pose doesn't work for you, you can skip ahead until one does. Yes, a person standing exactly straight could have a stick shaped line of action.
You don't need to draw props or seats or indeed wheelchairs to complete the exercises involved in the tutorial.
November 28, 2023 2:04pm #30415Autn Herbert, you have hit the difficulty exactly on the head and described some of the things or at least similar things, to what I have considered to try and overcome it.
November 8, 2023 3:48pm #30342Thank you for the heads up!
September 25, 2023 4:12pm #30152Yes, there was talk of it in a recent news post: https://line-of-action.com/article/a-whole-new-drawing-tool-basic-shapes
This is what it said:
* The scenes & environment tool previously had some close-ups labeled as still-life. I will be removing all still life from scenes & environments, and refocus that tool exclusively on more macro spaces and landscapes (both natural and human-created.)
* Scenes & environments will soon become available to all, and no longer be a subscription-only feature. -
