© 2020 Michael KingI've been working through some figure drawing classes on Skillshare and practicing with posing photos from Line of Action. My goal is to work on proportion and perspective. I'm still struggling with getting facial features and hands drawn properly.

Very nine standing figure. light & dark shading good. The highlights are put in with white chalk(?) It works just fine. The middle tone is primarily the gray paper (it works). The legs from the hip to the knee and the lower leg from the knee to the ankle are both equal. The left lower leg is held back so it will look smaller. Recommend you do a study of human anatomy - both muscles & bone structure. Line-of-Action has a section on hands & feet. It also has a section on head & faces. You would be well advised to use the resources Practice makes better. You need to practice, practice, and do more practice. Improvement will not happen overnight. Over time, if you do practice, you will see improvement. I also recommend you date each work & put the time (length of time you needed to complete the work). I do this. I can go back years to compare works. In the end, you will be thankful you did this.
