Done as part of a 2 hour class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

It is definitely clear what kind of forms and gestures you are drawing; in addition, the clean and thin lines that you use are very good to help define where the shapes are placed. Keep up the good work.

In terms of improvement, you can do a lot better about your line confidence. Rather than create feathery strokes, you should try to maintain a continuous line. For longer times, you can attempt to spend more time in measuring landmarks i.e. the length of the torso in relation to the head, etc.

Definitely try to measure up your sketch to the image by overlaying and looking at areas which do not match to understand and improve on your mistakes a lot faster.

Hope that helps.

Your gesture and shapes are very good, but I think you can improve on line confidence and proportions. Try to use longer, more confident strokes.

On the second drawing, the torso is too big in relation to the limbs. The hips should be significantly higher, otherwise it makes the legs look small and the body seem elongated. Overall really good though

Nice job on your figural studies, for your 2 class mode tonight. But I've got one more, more, smaller idea: Would you go for another 1 hour class with your figure drawings, if you please? Pretty please??? Because you'll get an even better, better idea on your line quality in your human anatomy. Could you do that?

Thanks, and God bless you, and be safe, and stay safe,

Your anatomy is pretty good. You know what each part of the human body looks like, which is half of figure drawing. I would break your drawings down into simpler shapes and form more of a process to work on your proportions, though. Your sketches are also really clean, which is really easy to look like:)
