Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

Nicest work, amyrphyr, nicest work!! Yet so, I've got one really, very much small request: Why don't you do another 10 minute drawing in carbon pencil, please?? (I haven't owned a unit of it yet, but still) Because, your drawings will be more and more, and more solidest, lightest and loosest and liveliest. Hope it'll help you out completely and totally more.

Hey Amurphyr! I think it is nice that you're going through the journey of understanding lines of action and movement through the simplification of anatomy. I think you can focus even more on trying not to push the charcoal against the paper and instead letting multiple lines guide you through the figure. You don't need one defining line and it is much easier to understand the human figure if you loosen up and make looser, thinner strokes. I think that will help you improve the sense of movement and fluidity in your artwork.
