I am trying to get back into drawing again recently and attempting to build up skill and style this is my second week of getting back to drawing again after years off and I am fairly pleased but something still seems off to me that I can't put a finger on, any critique is welcomed I would love to be able to develop further but feel like I've hit a bit of a wall

:)

Polyvios Animations

Good morning, Hanmdp, and welcome aboard to you from Line of Action, and I'm Polyvios, Polyvios Animations, and how are you doing today? Great works on your range of action and shapes of the figures and feet, but I'm not getting enough of the super-caricatured curves vs straights in them. How would you like to go for 5 minutes of figures and 5 minutes of feet? Because if your custom goal is to make your feet and figures less stiffest and the most fluidest and dynamic and squashy and stretchy, then I'd like to see you try that out.

For even more tips and tricks on how to constantly improve and innovate, then get yourself an Audible of the Daniel Coyle book, The Little Book of Talent.

Good night, and happy practicing.

Hello Hanmdp! I enjoy these sketches very much and am impressed at how well you captured the feet in these different angles. I know that you weren't focused on the head or hands in these particular sketches, but that is the only thing I can say is "off".

With your lining in these sketches, it may help to keep the darker bolder lines reserved for those areas that are closest to the viewer and the lighter lines for those areas that are further away. That would help to portray the depth of the form in your sketches.

Much Love and Happy Sketching,

Keitrilea
