I really liked the sketchier style — it gives the final piece extra personality!

I’m not sure if your intention was to go for something more realistic or more stylized. If it’s the first, it might be interesting to pay closer attention to proportions, especially the face and eyes — symmetry is essential :) If it’s the second, I think pushing the shapes and forms a bit more could add even more personality to the drawing. It helps to keep in mind what kind of vibe you want the cat to convey: calm, nervous, curious, etc.

Having a clear idea of the feeling you want your art to express really helps guide your creative process :)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your comment! I wanted the cat to look curious, and my intention was to make it more cartoonish. I am having a bit of a problem to keep the eyes in line; I am going to always draw that curved line linking the eyes to be able to maintain symetry. I am studying animal anatomy, but I haven't made to the cat skeleton yet. Thank you for the critique!
