Hanging from the loop of a rope

Done as part of a 30 minute class, did this one in ten minutes. It's not a perfectly finished sketch because of that, but any feedback is appreciated!

My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

Managing time on the 10 minute sketches is definitely a skill in and of itself! One thing i'm seeing is some really thick lines outlining most of the torso and legs, as if you went over those places over and over again.

If you improve your line quality, you can kill two birds with one stone: your image will look cleaner and more dynamic, and you'll be able to draw faster. As for how to improve line quality, regular old practice will help, but line exercises (of which you can find many via google) will also help if you feel like you need an extra boost.
