Think of lines like a bridge; how long do you make a bridge? Just long enough to get to the other side. Same with your linework, just enough to get the point across and no more.

The lines/shading on the torso especially is too heavy, I have no understanding about what is going on there. Line weight is an incredibly powerful tool at your disposal, so be sure to apply each line thoughfully. Try constructing the entire form with very light guidelines before going back in and intentionally adding more thickness to some lines.

We all get stuck going over lines, trying to correct etc, but you have to break yourself of the habit.
