Nightly practice

this is the last ten minutes sketch of the 30 minutes class. Last critique was that my proportion were off so I tried to work on that with this drawing. The blue is what I did in ten minutes and black is ten minutes on top of that trying to get more details in. Yeah critique is helpful. And if you could tell where I made mistakes I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

hi, I did the last critique ;)

here the most visible mistake is the leg left legs is too short.

for a human figure, the torso is too long for the head

both legs are too short for the same body.

the hand(not arm) is too short I believe.

also, it's great you try to learn and don't get offended from critique I believe you will improve, don't give up!

I'm not very experienced in giving critique, but I hope this is helpful! Firstly, it looks pretty good overall. I like the way you drew the torso and abdomen. The torso looks a little bit long for the head size, and the legs are defenitly too short for the body. The anatomy on the straight leg seems pretty accurate, but for the bent leg, I'd suggest curving the front differently? There wouldn't be a bump like that on a leg at that view. The hand also looks a little small for the body. Hands are generally about the size of the face. Overall, a good practice! Keep drawing!
