30 minute class

Done as part of a 30 minute class.

I haven't done any studies like this for a long time

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

Aliencommando

Good drawings! The poses are dynamic and the shapes are fleshy and organic. Some of the proportions are subtly off- it might be helpful to sketch out the underlying shape and check the proportions before going into detail. Also, it would be nice to know how much time you took for each pose but that might just be me.

Wow, those figures are very good, Mason. Very good!

However, if I could recommend you with something for improvement, it would be with some of the figures. I think you used some too extraneous lines. Why don't you please go for 27 more minutes of 30 second poses?

The reason is because, the life drawings will become better with lots of practice. But that's not all, you'll be even most bolder and decisive with your line choices.

Hope it's been completely and totally beneficial and useful.

I really like the body shapes you make, the curves look very organic. You might want to mind the proportions of the hands and feet which are quite small. Great work!
