60 minutes in

My current goal is: Improve my shading and rendering of light.

Polyvios Animations

Well, well, well, AuntHerbert, there's your very greatest job on your long haul portrait of a facial expression! Very, very greatest job on rendering the lights and shadows, relationships, spaces and edges, indeed! All grace. No effort.

So, if I could suggest you the littlest, smallest and tiniest nitpick for your face, it could be that I'm not getting enough of the ugliness and grotesquerie in this mug here. Would you kindly please free up your hands with 2 hours of 6 second drawings in 12 days? (7200/6/12,1200/12=100 scribbles a day) (but, they don't have to be very good)

The logical explanation is because, to help you loosen up your lines of action and lines of rhythm, even if you're doing so much on the faces and expressive expressions, plus your tonal renderings.

My hat's off to you, and I hope you've found it practical, helpful and encouraging to you and your goal or goals.
