"Off With Your head"

by Jcmlfineart, September 28th 2021 © 2021 Jcmlfineart

It was done as part of a 2-hour class.

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

20-minute drawing

If you ignore the head, the body still has a nice gesture. I got stuck in on the torso, and many other things got suffered along the way due to hyper-focus in one area of the drawing. If I had used crayons over the top and had a bit more time, I think I could have easily corrected my mistakes. But alas the flash card fliped and it was time to move on

Thank you for all your edits.

All the best

The legs and torso are very strong -- good job with the gesture and shading, the under-structure is really evident there!

The arm in the background (the one holding the necklace) is a bit too far out -- if you look at where it connects to the shoulder on the body, the upper arm appears stretched out. If you either twist the shoulder towards the arm or move the arm in towards the body, I think it would look a lot more accurate.

Keep up the good work!
