This is the second of a series along this line. What add today are pen & ink sketches in a 9.5" x6" sketchbook. Inspiration is from old black & white photos. I simplified them for placing body parts. I will draw them again using a pencil only larger. Then, using watercolor paint them on 15"x 11" 140 lb. watercolor paper.

Thank you for your critique. I do not know if the body is broken. Could be my drawing? The drawings were done within 30 minutes. The next interation of this person will be on 11" x 15" watercolor paper. The underlying drawing, besides being larger, will be done in pencil so any problem should be more easily seen and corrected. I used a Staedtler o.2 mm water proof pen.

Greatest job on your standing dynamic pose above, therefore, there's not enough of that intensity of that attitude. Would you like to please go draw 7 minutes of 29 second poses, from either shoulder?
The reason is because, your lines of action can and will grow exponentially.
My hat's off to you!

I like your style, and the hatching that suggests very harsh lighting as one would see in the desert. I t suits the subject very nicely, and leaves lots of space for imagination! However, there is something in the figure that seems slightly in need of attention. It seems like the torso is broken at the place where the arms are crossed, where above and below don't seem to continue. You might want to pay attention to that on your next iteration of the drawing. But your style is nice, very expressive and suggestve, so thank you for sharing, and great work!
