Animal Studies (1 Hour Class)

Second batch of studies I did today! I loved getting to draw a variety of critters I don't usually practice with :)

Your line is fabulous and show great motion. I love the weight of your lines on the more developed sketches. For some of the creatures, there is significant weight and motion coming from the outline. Try erasing the outer edges of your pieces and seeing if you still get the same motion you were intending, if not, try focusing on different details.

I like the detail in your turtle and kitten. Seeing the quicker line of action studies I'd be interested in seeing you have a chance to spend more time with birds and insects.

Be careful with the one hour class in case it's forcing you to cram some images in non-ideal spots. You might find it makes sense to split the quick line of action section onto another sheet for warm up and then leave more space for the sketch medley on a second sheet.

Hello, Maddie. How are you doing tonight? Say, you've done a greater job on your display of lines of action and organic drawing in your animal construction. But, the background looks too darker to me yet, but your forces and forms seem too stiffer to me yet. I've got two requests: 1) To make your canvas more lighter for all of your peers to see. And 2) To help make your lines of action and rhythm even more stronger with drawing from your shoulders.

The reason why is because of two things, like, first of all, to help make your lines, shapes, and spaces even more readable than before, and lastly, to make your goal into drawing your animals less stiffer but more fluider into a purer reality than before. I'm not to sure if that's one of your old posts, but it's fine.

Let's hope you've found these things completely and totally practical.
