Done as part of a practice session with poses of 10 minutes in length.

My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

Another good day! Focused on speed and making the torso thicker. I think I did a good job with the torso on #16 and #18. I came back and spent more time to finish #16 because I liked the pose so much.

Love to hear other thoughts on what I should change.

This is pretty good. The main problem I see is that a lot of the poses feel stiff. I would try originally creating exaggerated and more fluent curves for the legs and arms in particular. Later on, when you are adding detail, try to think about the gesture of the pose rather than copying contours. Stiffness is especially noticeable in #16 imo; you could try relying less on outlining and more and shading. Also, don't be afraid to make parts of the figure blend into the background.
You do have a good grasp of the overall human form, which is a good base.

Enoshade,

Thanks for the reply! I agree that stiffness is a problem with my work, it's a good idea to think of the gesture more being anatomically correct. I still have an issue with proportions which is what I have been focusing on. I will add exaggeration to future practice sessions.
