14-Second Figure Jot, just not to do a jot, but jot to make the paper go away. -Glen Keane

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 14 seconds in length.

My current goal is: Improve my figure drawing forces, gestures, acting, actions, thoughts and feelings, most quickly.

Well, everybody, this one goes out to Aunt Herbert, this scribble of the figure study practices. Forgive me for its cluttered and ambiguous appearance. But don't worry, I'll sculpt this scribble out the best that I can.

The reason why I'm totally doing this jot is because of what I'd said in the title.

I don't draw to do a drawing, I draw to make the paper go away.

-Glen Keane, on the Bancroft Bros. Animation Podcast, Libsyn.

Everyone makes their choice on what kind of art that they want to make. My art teacher use to make me scribble in class (the rest of the class would paint), because I drew too tight and small. I was able to get out of that habit. Now, I draw really big and don't like making small drawings, because it creates tension in my hand and reduces my creativity.
