2 min Life drawing Figure

This is a 2 min figure in my local life drawing session. Using pen & permanent ink,

Absolute work on your 2 minute figural quick sketch, tx, very good indeed. Love the range of motion on a seemingly static relaxed pose.

My sugggestion is that some of the pose or attitude, is a bit to choppier and the too rigidest. Would you please make it really emote and move with 30 minutes of 119 second poses of the figure warm-ups? (1800 seconds/119 seconds=15 poses of the nudes and non-nudes) (on custom timer) (all flipped horizontally)

The reason is because: a) to help you perceive the edges with your right side of your brain. b) To help make your static but dynamic poses the least harshest and the most dynamic, energetic and fluid. For further details, be sure to check out this link on Toby Shelton's Blog

Cheers, my hat's off to you, and I hope this link helps you out the most.

Thank you for critiquing my drawing. I have modified my objective. People do not like my exaggerations. I am the artist & I am in charge. If you do not like it, move on. If you have valid points, I will consider them. I will try to do 30 min a day of 2 min drawings. We have gone back to the weekly life drawing session. I have found that I am a bit rusty after the time off. Practice makes better, remember. I checked out Toby Shelton's blog. It was very interesting. Unlike you, I am not interested in animation. I was when I taught Flash 10 years ago. I will start the practice routine.

In my portrait sketchbook, there are 70 portraits like the 2 I have posted. All different kinds of people are represented.

I am unhappy with Line of Action (actually I am pissed). Over the past month, I have sent many emails. Not a one has been answered. In the last one, I said that if I do not get the situation cleared up, I will not do any more critiques. I may go so far as to quit and keep my $14+ per month.
