Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

Great job on showing your range of lines of action and balance in your nude pose above. Very good, indeed!

However, I'm still not getting enough of the loose lines of action in your gutsy gesture yet. How would you like to free up your shoulders with 30 minutes of 1 minute sketches of nudes and non-nudes, using your underhand position.

The reason is because so when you draw in that position, you'd be more in sync with the broad strokes, not being too bogged down on the details too soon. Also, if you'll get in the fastest sketches, then you'd not be too careful on the smaller details and more into the feeling and vitality in your subject matter.

Hope this has been helpful so much.

Great drawing! The proportions are mostly accurate and the pose is very readable!
To align with your goal, I think doing more 30 sec- 2 minute gesture drawings will help in establishing gesture in longer poses. When doing these sessions, don't focus on anatomy or proportion, but simply focus on where the pose stretches, squashes, and the flow of the pose. Practicing this will give you a good eye for gesture!

For critique of the pose, I think the upper arm on the right is too long and seems detached from the forearm. It also may benefit the drawing to lightly erase this layer (maybe with a kneaded eraser) and draw more confident, dark, lines with varying line width. This may transform the drawing from a quick sketch to a more confident one.

Great job overall! Keep practicing!

Great job Zorrak !

The pose is natural and the proportions seem to be respected. I can only encourage you to persevere and continue on this path !
To take your drawing to the next level, try to include shadows and light, even quickly sketching it will better define your volumes.

Keep up the good work !
