Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Nice to meet you. I'm participating from Japan. I would be very happy if you could give me a critique. I'm not very good at English, so I'm using translation software to write this text.

I may not be able to write a good reply, but if you give me a critique, I would like to refer to it.

Hi! I'm also a beginner so I don't know if I can give you a really good critique, but I can offer support! I think you're doing really well for where you are right now. What I can see from the drawing is that you have really good lines of action and from there you were able to build up each part of the animal nicely. What I would focus on to improve is increasing the dynamic aspect of your lines- really try to make it dramatic and I think that will help convey the motion in the horse. I watched a youtube tutorial on how to do this with Michael Mattesi and it was really helpful for me. The other thing I would focus on is the proprotions of the body. I think if you study the anatomy of the animal and learn the scale between its body parts it would help make it even more lifelife. Keep up the good work, I'm cheering for you!

Thank you for sharing youtube with us. I took a look at it as soon as I could. It's in English, so it's hard for me to follow, but i'll try to refer to it!
