Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Nice to meet you. I'm participating from Japan. I would be very happy if you could give me a critique. I'm not very good at English, so I'm using translation software to write this text.

I may not be able to write a good reply, but if you give me a critique, I would like to refer to it.

Momomimi

Such a wonderful gesture! I can easily pick up the attitude of the model in this pose. I can even tell you included line thinkness in certain parts of the body.

One thing I would mention to be careful of with poses like this are tangents. Tangents are when lines cross over into the others' space. In this drawing I can see it in the arms. With a pose like this, that can be tricky to avoid but it would help sell the form.

Your off to a great start! Can't wait to see what you draw next!

Thank you!

Your advice is so clear!

The tangents on the arms in this drawing were definitely not drawn well.

I'm going to try to draw it with an awareness of the fact that the two objects are properly overlapping.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to notice this.
