Gesture/Warmups as part of a 1 hour figure drawing class.

Goal: Improve at capturing proportions of human body

Way to go, Ketzune.

I love the gestures of those figures, because of how much feeling you've put into the light drawing.

I've got one tiny, littler suggestion: I love how much looseness you've got in the silhouettes, but I just cannot get enough of them. Why don't you work on loosening up your organic spaces, positive and negative, by 60 minutes of 30 second quick scribbly practices?? (120 of 'em)

The reason why is because, it can and will make your shapes and spaces less automatonic and even more natural and organic in the drawings.

And so, good luck to you.

Give each figure their own space on the paper. No need to go over the same drawing with another.

If these are gestures, the feedbck depends on how long they are. If you provide that, it'll help. My fb would be very different depending on whether it's a 30 second or 5 minute exercise.

Your figures have a believable sense of volume. Keep going!

I don't remember for sure, but I think the two darker sketches are 2 minutes a piece.
